I met Samantha one day when on impulse, I accepted an online dates idea of playing badminton together. I first met Samantha when she joined the Burnaby Rotary Club less than a year ago. Rotary is a group of professional and business people who strive to “make things better” in their own communities and around the world. It is the world’s largest such Organization and I have been proud to serve in the Burnaby Club for over 45 years.

Shortly after Samantha joined our club, she made a point of talking to several senior members, trying to understand their thoughts of Rotary, but also to use some of what she learned to increase Membership in the club. When she came to our house, she asked what my thoughts were in several areas.
